Justin Cianciolo (He/Him)

A Brief History...

One of my earliest memories is riding a bike without training wheels for the first time. I grew up in a small town on the eastern shore that had crushed shell streets. In the summer months, water trucks would spray the roads to keep the dust down, and my brother and I would ride our bikes behind them to cool off.

In 2013, I met Greg Hamill while he was wrenching at a bike shop that my father encouraged me to go check it out. Ended up renting a bike and riding through Patapsco Valley State Park for the first time, and I was hooked. I promptly moved to Catonsville, and the bike life has slowly taken over.

In my pursuit of this new endeavor, my primary objectives revolve around championing inclusivity within the cycling community and advocating for responsible trail stewardship.

Why I love bikes

Bikes are a kid's first taste of freedom. I firmly believe that bicycles keep you young and stokes the child within, possessing the ability to evoke wonder and unite people from all walks of life.

Since 2015, I have been devoted to serving the cycling community, consistently witnessing the profound physical and mental benefits it offers. Riding bikes with friends in the woods is a day well-spent.
