Greg Hamill (He/Him)

A Brief History...

I got into riding when I was about 13 years-old. My friends and I would build jumps in the woods and ride down every stair set we could find. More often than not I would find myself limping into the local bike shop, hoping my bike would live to see another day.  Then the bike mechanics would work their magic and I'd be back on the trail in no time.

The happiness I felt after getting my bike back from the shop had a huge impact on me, and since then I've been working in the bike industry for the last 14 years.

Why I love bikes

The friendships I've made along the way and the people I've met are what make me love and appreciate bikes the most.

Favorite trail snack

For some reason my brain and stomach really love a pb&j wrapped in a flour tortilla as a trail side snack. If I get hungry out on a ride I imagine the sandwich waiting for me at the top of a climb as motivation.

Favorite place to ride

Frederick Watershed, MD

Bucket list destination

I'd like to go to the Jamacia Fat Tire festival. The trails look great and it looks like a really fun time!
